Instagram combines private conversations, public engagement, visual publishing, and audience insight. Use it when discovery and customer service happen around the same content.
What Replify can do with Instagram
- Route eligible DMs and comments into the inbox, including supported private replies.
- Reply, hide, unhide, like, unlike, or delete an interaction only when the individual item permits that action.
- Publish and schedule supported images, videos, and Reels with first comments, up to three collaborators, video user tags, feed visibility, audio mute, and AI-media disclosure.
- Sync external posts, retry failed targets, edit scheduled drafts, cancel future posts, and inspect action history.
- Review account, follower, audience, post, engagement, best-time, cadence, and content-lifespan insights where permissions allow.
Availability follows the permissions granted by Instagram and by the selected profile. If a control is unavailable for one item or profile, Replify keeps it hidden or explains why it cannot run.
Connect the right profile
Open Channels, choose Instagram, and complete the network authorization. Replify supports multiple Instagram profiles in one workspace. Give each profile a recognizable name, then mark the normal day-to-day sender as primary. The primary profile is only a default: existing conversations keep their pinned sender, while publishing, templates, broadcasts, and automations let authorized users choose the exact profile.
Before disconnecting or replacing a profile, reassign scheduled posts and confirm that active conversations have a valid sender. Reconnect the same profile when permissions expire; use Add profile only for a genuinely different account.
Recommended daily workflow
- Connect the business profile and confirm messaging, comments, content publishing, and insights permissions.
- Create one approved master idea, then adapt the hook, media format, collaborator list, and first comment for Instagram.
- Send scheduled content through review before publishing; Instagram posts cannot be unpublished through this workflow.
- Turn high-intent comments or DMs into assigned CRM work and keep public and private responses consistent.
- Compare reach, saves, replies, and follower movement by format rather than optimizing for likes alone.
Use Publishing for drafts, validation, approval, scheduling, target-specific copy, retries, and the lifecycle actions the network supports. Use the shared inbox for messages, comments, mentions, or reviews that the channel makes available.
Measure Instagram performance
Instagram supports profile and post trends plus advanced account reach, follower history, and audience distribution by country, city, age, and gender when the business profile grants those insights. Open Social analytics, select the exact connected profile, choose a useful comparison window, and sync current data before making a decision. Metric names and availability vary by network, permission, account type, and selected date range; compare trends within the same profile instead of treating every network metric as identical.
Limits to plan around
- Business permissions and eligible account type are required for messaging, comments, publishing, and insights.
- Photo tags that require coordinates are not created by the current publishing form; video and Reel username tags are supported.
- Published Instagram targets cannot be edited or unpublished through the API workflow.
- Private replies and moderation remain subject to each interaction's own eligibility flags.
Replify does not add advertising management to this workflow. It operates organic customer conversations, engagement, publishing, and analytics only where the connected network permits them.
