Use Messenger with Replify: shared inbox and response ownership

Connect Messenger profiles, route inbound conversations, assign ownership, and respect network messaging policies.

Messenger in Replify is intentionally focused on private customer conversations. It is useful for support and lead follow-up when customers initiate contact through an eligible connected Page identity.

What Replify can do with Messenger

  • Receive eligible Messenger conversations in the shared inbox and preserve the connected Page identity.
  • Assign, archive, reopen, tag, prioritize, and link conversations to contacts, deals, appointments, and tasks.
  • Send supported text and media replies inside the network's allowed context.
  • Use AI assistance and automations when the workspace response mode and conversation ownership allow them.
  • Connect multiple Messenger identities and keep replies pinned to the correct account.

Availability follows the permissions granted by Messenger and by the selected profile. If a control is unavailable for one item or profile, Replify keeps it hidden or explains why it cannot run.

Connect the right profile

Open Channels, choose Messenger, and complete the network authorization. Replify supports multiple Messenger profiles in one workspace. Give each profile a recognizable name, then mark the normal day-to-day sender as primary. The primary profile is only a default: existing conversations keep their pinned sender, while publishing, templates, broadcasts, and automations let authorized users choose the exact profile.

Before disconnecting or replacing a profile, reassign scheduled posts and confirm that active conversations have a valid sender. Reconnect the same profile when permissions expire; use Add profile only for a genuinely different account.

Recommended daily workflow

  1. Connect the Page identity used for customer messages and confirm the team can recognize it by name.
  2. Let inbound contact create or match the customer record before assigning an owner.
  3. Use AI for drafting or eligible automatic handling, but preserve human ownership during active cases.
  4. Close the loop with a CRM next step instead of leaving qualified conversations as unread chat history.
  5. Review inbox response and resolution trends; Messenger does not feed the social publishing dashboard.

Use Publishing for drafts, validation, approval, scheduling, target-specific copy, retries, and the lifecycle actions the network supports. Use the shared inbox for messages, comments, mentions, or reviews that the channel makes available.

Measure Messenger performance

Use inbox analytics for volume, response speed, resolution, assignment, and automation or AI activity. Messenger profile and post analytics are not part of Replify's current organic analytics surface. Open Social analytics, select the exact connected profile, choose a useful comparison window, and sync current data before making a decision. Metric names and availability vary by network, permission, account type, and selected date range; compare trends within the same profile instead of treating every network metric as identical.

Limits to plan around

  • Messenger is DM-focused in Replify; Facebook Page posts, comments, reviews, and Page analytics are excluded.
  • Customers normally need to initiate or create an eligible messaging context before a reply can be sent.
  • Media support is narrower than on WhatsApp and varies by message type.
  • The connected Page and granted permissions determine what is available.

Replify does not add advertising management to this workflow. It operates organic customer conversations, engagement, publishing, and analytics only where the connected network permits them.
